Basic Life Support (BLS) For Healthcare Providers (Classroom & Online)

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. This would also include nursing students, EMT students and anyone that is interested in becoming a BLS Instructors.

Heartsaver First Aid (Classroom & Online)

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies. Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom course that is designed to meet OSHA regulations.

The course teaches basic first aid skills such as:

  • Stopping bleeding that can be seen
  • Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain
  • Making sure the scene is safe

Family & Friends (Adult CPR)

The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, and children and how to help an adult, or child, who is choking. Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card may take this class. This program also can be a non-credentialed option for middle and high school students

Family & Friends (infant CPR)

The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR for infants and how to assist when choking.

Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn infant CPR but do not need a course completion card. This program also can be a non-credentialed option for middle and high school students

Heartsaver CPR & AED (classroom & online)

The Heartsaver CPR Course teaches CPR how to use an AED Automated External Defibrillator & relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages. For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers and coaches.

Heartsaver CPR, AED & First Aid (Classroom or Online)

Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED is a classroom course that is designed to meet OSHA requirements. The course teaches basic first Aid, CPR, and AED skills such as:

  • How to treat bleeding, broken bones, and shock
  • How to relieve choking and other emergencies
  • Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
  • Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
